Reviewers Opinion -
Before the Matrix there was Virtuosity and Johnny Memnonic, Before Virtuosity and Johnny Memnonic there was the Lawnmower Man, before the Lawn Mower man there was Tron. Before them all was a book, Snow Crash. This book set the standard for what we know as cyberpunk. It is the starting ground for all the terms we know today. And one thing still remains true, this book is still filled with more action and story then all of those movies combined. From skateboars to sword fights to gun fights ("Reason" cannon anyone). This a fast paced, witty satire that will have you on the edge of your seat until the last page is turned
Pros - Funny, action packed, and never lets up for a moment
Cons - Anyone not into tech is going to be left out, erratic writing style
Similar Books - Otherland, Sprawl, Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep
Other Books by Author - Cryptonomicon, The Baroque Cycle: Quicksilver
