To commerate the 4th of July I drew a picture. Well actually I got the inspiration to draw it on Monday. I think we had 10 registered users online all postin their hearts out so I wrote them all down quick and tossed a few more in for good measure. Heres a sneak peek at

Happy fourth of july, everyone. I love the sketch... i think the final version will end up as my wallpaper. i Know we didn't win, but that's way in the past. Besides, i'll take Any excuse to party!

Bah, no one remembers what holidays are for anymore Wrince. Its just another day for people to make money now. And anyways, that was 200+ years ago. Its all moot now. It is funny the holidays we celebrate. Thanksgiving, the beginning of the reign of terror in the Americas. Easter, celebrating the day a man got nailed to a cross then came back to life. Halloween celebrating the world falling from the light half to the dark half, 4th of July day Americas finished pissing off all the other countries and won its "independance" (mainly because everyone else got tired of fighting the upstarts and just went home, "fine let them have it gese"(wow this sounds faimilar)). Christmas celebrating a fat man in a red suit sneaking down your chimney in the middle of the night who stold the holiday from a child being born in a ramshackle barn.
Like you said, just another reason to have friends and family over and party to have a good time.

that reminds me of a little known fact: the christian church changed the official birthday of jesus to land on the same day as the pagan winter festival; december 25. and the view of santa as a 'jolly red fat man' was invented by Coca-cola.
I make a point of remembering this stuff. No real reason, it's just usefull for times like this.
