Ok critters, Im moving this over to my domain today so there might be a few ups and downs. If all goes well we should be able to resume foruming by the end of the day with no databasing errors. All posts, users, and stuff should remain. Im going to disable the board an hour after this post. The Contest sumbission deadline will be extended to however long it takes me to make all this crap work. Thanks for your cooperation. _________________ "Some men aren't looking for anything logical, they cant be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."

Ok this is going to have to happen next weekend. Lots of explatives at programers who ignore backwards compatability.

Yay! I'm not the only one who owns an Amiga! Although, I doubt I could say the same about the Commadore 64... _________________ Ignorance is the only sin. ~Socrates

An amiga A600
that's an amiga, the version I have. Sadly, I've lost the workbench discs, so no plush and blood forum surfing for me. Oh well, at least i can play on my stacks of old games. _________________

what, a friend or an Amiga?
yeah, the Amiga isn't actually that heavy, compared to, say, an IBM PC, or whatever desktop computer you may be using.
say, why are they called 'desktop' computers when they are quite often found beside or under the desk, if they are in fact near a desk at all? _________________

Amiga actually means 'female friend' in spanish. Hence why I said "Friend" XD
I know exactly what you mean, most comps I've seen the tower is pretty much on the floor and very much ready to take on any hits from kicking or something XD Only thing you mostly see is the monitor on a table, not even a desk D= I guess me thinks desks are more expensive perhaps. _________________ Critters corner of awesomesauce webcomicking

that does make sense, actually. I have heard people refer to Amigas. and Computers in general, as 'the old girl'. as in 'i finally go the old girl running' or 'there's life in her yet!'
I don't think desks are really that expensive. I mean, I have one.
I hold my hand up to say i have never kicked my computer. [hard] _________________

I've heard those refferals too XD Then agains, in spanish computadoras, kinda has female sense to it so I hear 'she' more often than 'he'. Me, being a bit off the norm call my computer Kumihiko o.o don't ask me why though, no honest clue.
Deask aren't expensive me thinks either...I've just never had enough to get a new one... I mean this one works but it's fact that the poor guy is outdated sometimes, being about 10 years old and all...
While I haven't kicked this comp, I have surely smacked it on the bad days...poor dude...and he doesn't deserve it, he's doing the best he can D= _________________ Critters corner of awesomesauce webcomicking

Hey, as long as it works, it's all good to me. Though I'm amazed how many people bother me for it being old. I mean for one, I can't have the newest MSN messenger because this comps has Windows ME and so they get frustrated when I don't receive the messages or can't see anything because the comp tilts.
I just find it hilarious, they complain for me ¬.¬ _________________ Critters corner of awesomesauce webcomicking

this computer is alright, I guess, but the internet is fairly slow. it takes 10+ seconds for the 'reply' page to load, when it should be pretty much instant. it was that good some time ago, but it's started going very slow indeed as of late. _________________
